Krishna Janmashtami ( Krishna Janmashtami )The day celebrates the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This year again Janmashtami is falling for 2 days. Due to which people are not able to understand whether Janmashtami should be celebrated on 23rd August or 24th August. According to Acharya Indu Prakash, Lord Krishna was born on the Ashtami date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month, Rohini was in the constellation at the time of Krishna's birth, the Sun was in Leo and the Moon was in Taurus.

कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी( Krishna Janmashtami ) के दिन भगवान विष्णु के 8वें अवतार श्रीकृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव मनाया जाता है। इस साल फिर 2 दिन जन्माष्टमी पड़ रही है। जिसके कारण लोगों को समझ नहीं आ रहा है कि आखिर जन्माष्टमी 23 अगस्त को मनाएं या 24 अगस्त को। आचार्य इंदु प्रकाश के अनुसार भगवान कृष्ण का जन्म भाद्रपद मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी तिथि को हुआ था, कृष्ण जन्म के समय रोहिणी नक्षत्र था, सूर्य सिंह राशि में तो चंद्रमा वृषभ राशि में था। इसलिए जब रात में अष्टमी तिथि हो उसी दिन जन्माष्टमी का व्रत करना चाहिए।
