शरीयत का कानून इस्लामी हुकूमत को चलाने के काम आता है, जिसमें तमाम काम इस्लामी उसूल के मुताबिक होते हैं। अदालतें फैसला भी इस्लामी उसूल के मुताबिक करती हैं। हुकूमत का सारा निजाम इस्लामी तर्ज पर होता है। ये ज्यादातार वो कानून हैं जो कुरान, हदीस और दूसरी बड़ी इस्लामी किताबों से बनाए गए हैं।
