India were blown away for 78 runs in the first innings. James Anderson who managed figures of 3/6 in the first eight overs over the day, never bowled in the second session as Craig Overton and Sam Curran ran through India and the visitors went from 67/5 to 78 all within five overs. Rohit Sharma top-scored with his 105-ball 19 and the second-highest scorer in that innings was Ajinkya Rahane. Anderson finished with figures of 3/6 in 8 overs and he dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli in the very first hour.After 89 years, not a single batsman of the Indian team could score even 20 runs.
