Calls for ex-prisoners to become warders

South Africa's unemployment rate has reached an all-time high of 34.4 percent. The chances of landing a job are highly unlikely. And for former prisoners, the situation is even worse. Now, a criminologist believes he has the solution. Casper Lotter says former inmates should be employed as prison wardens. He says this would also help reduce ex-prisoners becoming reoffenders.
