Mtebeni's family to visit the crime scene

A 25-year-old man is expected to appear in the East London Magistrate's Court today in connection with the murder of Nosicelo Mtebeni. The accused is believed to be her boyfriend. The gruesome murder of the 23-year-old University of Fort Hare student has sent shockwaves through the country. Mtebeni’s dismembered remains were found in a suitcase. Some of her body parts were discovered in bags outside her boyfriend's residence, while her head and hands were discovered inside his room. He allegedly used a handsaw to dismember her body. Last night, students and university staff members held a night vigil for Mtebeni.
