Lifeline experienced new record for counselling calls

The telephone crisis counselling service Lifeline has experienced unprecedented demand for help this month, as the Delta variant of COVID plunged large parts of the country into lockdown. On Monday, more than 3400 calls were made to the service, which was a new record high. John Brogden is the Chairman of Lifeline Australia.
