Deadline for US troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan may be extended: Joe Biden

President Joe Biden, who has come under fierce criticism for his handling of the pullout of US troops from Afghanistan, said today the August 31 deadline of the withdrawal may be extended to facilitate the evacuation of American citizens from Kabul. "If there's American citizens left, we're going to stay until we get them all out," said Biden, as quoted by Reuters.
