Rahul Gandhi hails farmers in Kerala, recognises their contribution for country

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on August 17 hailed farmers stating that they have given the country so much. “Agriculture is an intrinsic part of our history, culture and heritage. I believe in farmers and in their capacity to innovate. But their intelligence, resourcefulness, spirit requires a level playing field. They have given this country so much,” said Rahul Gandhi during an inaugural ceremony of ‘Karassery Panchayat Farmers' program. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is on a 3-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Wayanad in Kerala, from August 16th-18th 2021.
