In just a week of armed conquest, the Taliban have taken control of the capital city of Kabul after Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country and sought asylum in Tajikistan. At least three people have been killed by gunfire at Kabul airport. Two people who had tied themselves to the wheels of an aircraft flying from Kabul fell down.
