Congress leader and former MP Sushmita Dev has resigned from the party. The change in her Twitter bio to "former Member of Indian National Congress and Mahila Congress" was the first clue that she had quit Congress. Sushmita Dev, who headed the Congress's women's wing, the All India Mahila Congress, is likely to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee in Kolkata on Monday amid speculation that she might join TMC.
