Odisha Corona Breaking: 138 Children In 0-18 Age Group Test Covid Positive In A Day

The threat of a potential Covid-19 third wave seems to be looming large in Odisha as more than hundred children were found positive for the virus in a day. As per State I&PR department, 1058 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, of which there were 138 children in the 0-18 years age group. Of the total infections, 616 cases were from quarantine while 442 are local transmission cases. Meanwhile, the virus toll in Odisha has climbed to 6,887 after the health department reported death of 64 more persons due to Covid-19.
