Tourists elated as Kerala opens up Eravikulam national park, other destinations

Tourists have welcomed the Kerala government's decision to open up tourism destinations in the state. In Munnar, Eravikulam national park, the largest habitat of Nilgiri Thars, opened on August 9 for tourists, with Covid-19 curbs in place. Alongside this Chinnar, Rajamala, and Vattavada regions under the forest department are also welcoming tourists. With tourism activities picking up, authorities are ensuring the public adheres to Covid-19 protocols.
