Children under 16 not included in Australia's vaccination targets

Children under the age of 16 are not included in Australia's vaccination targets, even though there has been an increase in young Australian's contracting the Delta variant of the coronavirus. Professor Robert Booy says that children shouldn't be prioritised in the vaccine rollout as they are more resistant to the virus and less likely to develop serious symptoms.
