Odisha on Friday witnessed an upward trend in the daily infections with the detection of 1193 Covid positive cases in the last 24 hours. With 425 cases during the period, Khordha alone accounts for more than a third of the new cases, while Cuttack is next with 161 positives. The deaths continue to remain high as government revealed that the disease has claimed lives of 60 more persons.
