Condemning the behaviour of Opposition parties in Parliament, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra stated the Congress had “shamed” democracy by disrupting proceedings in both Houses. He alleged that Opposition lawmakers broke the glass inside Parliament and injured a marshal who was now hospitalized. "Opposition ensured washout of the whole session. The whole country is shamed at the way these Opposition parties have shown anarchy inside the Parliament, especially Congress leaders under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi," said Patra.
