ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है जब Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) में महिला अफसरों की भर्ती की गई है, पहले बैच में दो महिला अफसरों ने आईटीबीपी ज्वाइन की है. दोनों महिलाएं लड़ाकू अधिकारियों के रूप में शामिल हुई हैं। अब तक, ITBP में महिला अधिकारी चिकित्सा शाखा में सेवारत थीं या शीर्ष क्षेत्रों में भारतीय पुलिस सेवा से प्रतिनियुक्ति पर थीं। लेकिन रविवार को मसूरी की आईटीबीपी अकादमी में आयोजित एक पासिंग परेड के दौरान प्रकृति और दीक्षा ने Assistant Commandants के रूप शपथ ली।
