Carlo Paalam’s estranged mother showed her support to the boxer

Unknown to many, the Filipino Boxer Carlo Paalam who is now one win away from Gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Game had a difficult childhood. The boxer and his siblings grew up with their father in Cagayan de Oro, where he discover boxing while picking up trash. Growing up without the presence of a mother, this doesn’t stop Carlo in showing his potential to the world.

Before his flight to Tokyo, Paalam rekindled his relationship with his mother via phone call.
