Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana in Gujarat. In his virtual oration he stated that since Independence, almost every govt said to provide cheap food to the poor. The reach of cheap ration schemes and budget increased during these yrs. But the effect remained limited. Food storage kept increasing but starvation and malnutrition didn't decrease in that ratio. He orated further that the country needs new infrastructure and lakhs of crores are being spent on this. But this has also generated employment to the people, at the same time setting new parameters for the ease of living, it is required to improve the quality of normal human life. Today the top priority is being given to the empowerment of the economically deprived ones. Watch this video.
