Sindhu, first female athlete to win medals in two Olympics

India's woman power has been showcased in the Tokyo Olympics. Till now all the medallists of India in Tokyo are women. Mirabai Chanu won the silver medal in the 49 kg weightlifting category on the very first day of the Tokyo Olympics. India's wonder girl PV Sindhu has won the bronze medal in badminton, she has become the first female athlete from India to have won medals in two Olympics. PV Sindhu won the silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Women's boxer Lovlina Borgohain has also ensured a bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics. India has 5 Olympic medals since 2016 and these five have been achieved by women only.
