The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has changed the names of many cities including Allahabad. Now the name of another city is going to be added to this list. The Yogi government may soon change the name of Firozabad district famous for bangles to Chandranagar. For this, the Firozabad District Panchayat has passed a resolution. The proposal to keep the ancient name of Firozabad as Chandranagar was passed under the chairmanship of District Panchayat President Harshita Singh.


उत्तर प्रदेश (Uttar Pradesh) की योगी सरकार (UP Yogi Govt) ने इलाहाबाद समेत कई शहरों के नाम बदले हैं. अब इस लिस्ट में एक और शहर का नाम जुड़ने वाला है. योगी सरकार जल्द ही चूड़ियों के लिए मशहूर फिरोज़ाबाद (firozabad) जिले का नाम बदलकर चंद्रनगर ( Chandranagar) कर सकती है. इसके लिए फिरोजाबाद जिला पंचायत ने एक प्रस्ताव पास कर दिया है. फिरोजाबाद का प्राचीन नाम चंद्रनगर रखे जाने का प्रस्ताव जिला पंचायत अध्यक्ष हर्षिता सिंह की अध्यक्षता में पारित कर दिया गया.
