Pregnant women can now receive Pfizer at Victoria’s mass vaccination hubs, after being included in the phase 1B category of the national vaccine rollout. COVID vaccines were initially not recommended for expectant mothers due to a lack of research, but now experts believe the Pfizer shot is a safe option.
