Acloudburst has been reported near the Amarnath shrine in central Kashmir. No loss of life or injury has been reported as of yet.
This was the third cloudburst reported today after Kishtwar in J&K and Manali in Himachal Pradesh. Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Kangan, Syed Yasir told India Today, "In view of incessant rains and reported the cloudburst at the holy cave [Amarnath], the general public in areas of Gund and Kangan are requested to stay away from the river Sindh as there may be sudden increase in flow of water. Kishtwar के बाद अब Amarnath में लगातार हो रही बारिश के बाद बादल फट गया है. जिसके बाद यहां Sindh River का जलस्तर बढ़ गया. Amarnath में बादल फटने की खबर मिलते ही एनडीआरएफ की एक और टीम को घटनास्थल के लिए रवाना कर दिया गया है. वो इसलिए क्योंकि यहां पहले से ही NDRF की 2 टीमें मौजूद है. अमरनाथ में बादल फटने की घटना पर केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री Amit Shah ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के उपराज्यपाल मनोज सिन्हा से घटना पर हालात की जानकारी ली है.
