First look inside Derry's new £8 million Lidl ahead of opening on July 29th 2021

The shelves are being stacked and the final touches added ahead of the grand opening of Derry’s new £8m Lidl superstore in Springtown later this week.
The Journal yesterday was given a sneak preview of the interior of the impressive 2,217 sq metre store ,which will be one of the largest supermarkets in the north west when it opens on Thursday at 8am.
Ten new jobs have been created at the store, which will replace the current Lidl store close by on Buncrana Road.
