Heavy rainfall lashes Delhi-NCR, waterlogging reported in several areas

Delhi woke up to a rainy morning on Tuesday. Sultry weather conditions have been seen in Delhi-NCR in the last few days with the maximum temperature settling at 33.1 degrees Celsius in the national capital on Monday. A heavy downpour on early Tuesday morning brought relief but also resulted in waterlogging in many areas of Delhi-NCR such as ITO, Lakshmi Nagar, Akshardham, Madanpur Khadar, Badarpur, Dwarka and adjoining cities of Noida and Ghaziabad. Traffic movement was also affected in some areas.
