The Chhattisgarh Government has decided to reopen schools for students of class 10th and class 12th from August 02. Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam said, “Only classes 10, 12 to resume from August 2 with students allowed at 50% strength after parents' approval. If there is parents' consensus, soon we will also resume other classes- 9th, 6th.” The Chhattisgarh government took the decision after witnessing a decline in fresh Covid-19 cases in the state.
