Today is the second day of the Tokyo Olympic Games and India got its first medal. Meerabai Channu got a silver medal in the 49 kg weight lifting category. Today was being considered a very important day for India in terms of medals. PM Narendra Modi tweeted and congratulated Meerabai and called her an inspiration for the country.
