Meanwhile, on 23 July, there was a demonstration in a new style, where farmers first prepared a dummyof Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar. After that he wrote his resignation letter. They also raised slogans against the central government.

किसान आंदोलन को 8 महीने का वक्त पूरा होने वाला है। हाल ही में संसद के मानसून सत्र को देखते हुए किसानों ने जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन शुरू किया, जिसे उन्होंने किसान संसद नाम दिया है। इस बीच 23 जुलाई को वहां पर नए अंदाज में प्रदर्शन देखने को मिला, जहां सबसे पहले किसानों ने कृषि मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर का डमी तैयार किया। इसके बाद उससे इस्तीफा लिखवाया। साथ ही केंद्र सरकार के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की।
