Heavy rains in several parts of Maharashtra have disrupted normal life resulting in heavy water logging in parts of Chiplun, Kolhapur, Satara, Akola, Yavatmal, Hingoli, Thane and Palghar districts. The weather department has warned of heavy rains in the state for the next 48 hours.
