70,000 claims a day submitted for disaster payments

The Federal Government has revealed it's handling around 70-thousand claims each day for disaster payments, with more than 30-million dollars of emergency support paid in the past 24 hours alone. Social services groups and business owners say many workers are still missing out. Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says the government is working to offer support while keeping the country out of another recession.
