Five months after saying 4 soldier were killed, China revises Galwan valley clash death toll. China’s state-run Xinhua news agency released details about soldiers it killed in the 2020 Galwan valley clash with Indian troops. The Chinese media report claims that ‘several soldiers were besieged including regimental commander, Qi Fabao’. The Chinese report elaborates how its soldiers, including Battalion Commander, Chen Hongjun were martyred in Galwan.
