The farmers will stage their protest at Jantar Mantar from today till the parliament monsoon session concludes. The Delhi Government on Wednesday granted permission on the condition that the demonstrators would travel from the Singhu border in buses with police escort. In view of the development, the Delhi Police has tightened the security arrangements across the city. The protest comes during the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament, which started on Monday and is scheduled to conclude on August 13.
