The Pegasus 'snooping' report kicked up a storm during the Monsoon Session of Parliament as the Opposition cornered the government over it. Pegasus spyware from Israel-based NSO Group was found to have allegedly helped governments in countries, including India, to hack into the phones of thousands of activists, journalists, and politicians. PM Modi attacked the opposition over the Pegasus case after which the BJP fielded regional satraps to answer the allegations of opposition.
