Pegasus leak:Facebook propaganda & Ambani story caused phone hack

Paranjoy Guha Thakurta was investigating Facebook and Whatsapp those days. He was looking at how these two are used for disinformation and propaganda by the government. It was around this time when he was also investigating Late Dhirubhai Ambani's foreign assets. He had sent letters to his sons to respond to his story so that he could as the convention goes add their version also. He never heard from them. What happened in this period, he was later told, by Forbidden Stories,is that his phone was hacked. And hacked by an Israeli company called NSO with spyware called Pegasus. Using this spyware NSO's clients can access pictures, documents, mails, conversations.
