New South Wales has recorded 98 new COVID cases with more than two thirds of them in Sydney's south west. The rate of infection between family households remains a key concern with the highest number of infections, while workplaces account for the second highest. Premier Gladys Berejiklian maintains that the halt in construction until July 30 is essential to reducing the spread of the virus.
