Unrest threatens food security

The Consumer Goods Council of South Africa is asking government to provide protection to its retail, manufacturing, and service sector members as soon as possible. It also wants government to ensure the safe passage of delivery vehicles and employees while restoring the supply of food, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies to looted areas.
