Why Indian Govt still considering Sedition law vital?

Section 124-A in the Indian Penal Code, named 'Sedition', explains sedition in wide and magnanimous terms. It says 'Whoever, by words, either spoken or written, or by signs, or by visible representation, or otherwise, brings or attempts to bring into hatred or contempt, or excites or attempts to excite disaffection towards the Government established by law in India' shall be punished with life imprisonment. But the question arises as that why even after 75 years of independence, there is only debate in India to remove the sedition law of the British era. In such a situation, it may be surprising to know that Britain itself had abolished the sedition law in its country in 2010, but will this law end now in India too. Watch this video.
