A drone was spotted near the international border in Arnia sector of Jammu and Kashmir around midnight. Alert BSF personnel fired at the drone to neutralise it. However, the drone vanished. Sources say the operators of the drone pulled it back towards the Pakistan side.

This is the latest in a series of drone-sightings in Jammu and Kashmir over the last few weeks. Back in June, low-fying drones were used to drop explosives in the high-security area of Air Force Station Jammu, in a first of its kind attack.
