As Jagannath Rath Yatra is underway in Puri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other political leaders wished fellow Indians and devotees on the occasion. However, the Rath Yatra like the previous is being undertaken by the temple authorities under strict COVID-19 guidelines and the town of Puri is under a 48-hour curfew.
