After winning big in Zila Panchayat chairman elections, the BJP won 635 out of 825 seats in block panchayat pramukh elections on Saturday. A total of 349 candidates for the block panchayat chief polls in Uttar Pradesh were elected unopposed on Friday and elections were held for the remaining 476 posts today.
