Signs of third wave: Where did Kerala go wrong?

The number of fresh Covid-19 cases in Kerala has been increasing for the past few weeks, raising concerns about the trajectory of the pandemic situation. A steady rise in cases over the past two weeks after a drastic drop since the end of May has also put a question mark on the containment measures adopted by the state. 
Health experts have cautioned about the compounding effect of the steady rise in the number of patients infected by the virus every day.
