The Modi government which held its first cabinet meeting post mega expansion exercise on Wednesday announced a host of new decisions concerning farmers and the health sector. The first decision related to agriculture and farming was taken. In first Cabinet briefing since reshuffle, Anurag Thakur said, "Last year several decisions were taken related to APMC and strengthening APMC. Cabinet today decided on using one lakh crore infrastructure project (announced last year) through APMC to create infrastructure. This is to strengthen APMC countrywide.
