In what could possibly boost the ongoing Covid battle, additional Chief Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Department - Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra informed that all the district headquarters of Odisha will now have RT-PCR testing labs. On Thursday, Pradipta Mohapatra said that RT-PCR labs will be set up in all districts of Odisha by August 15. Moreover, the state is procuring nine extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machines which will be installed at SCB Medical College and Hospital. The senior official further said that government has made all arrangements and strengthened its preparations to tackle the possible third wave of Covid-19.
