UCT study finds that booze bans save lives

A new UCT and Medical Research Council study has found alcohol bans lead to a drop in unnatural deaths. According to the findings, a 4 to 7 hour restriction sees a drop of 42 deaths per day, while a total ban leads to 74 lives saved per day. Courtesy #DStv403
