The Delhi government has ordered the closure of markets in East Delhi's Laxmi Nagar over alleged violation of Covid-19 safety protocols. The market will remain closed until further orders.
In an order issued on July 4, the Lajpat Nagar Market Traders Association has been asked to show cause why action should not be taken against them for violating Covid-19 norms.
Meanwhile, the association has been directed to ensure that all unlock SOPs in the market are implemented within a single day.
