Delhi breaks 90 years record of highest temperature in July

Delhi on Thursday broke all the records as the temperature in the national capital rose to new highs. The national capital continued to reel under the ongoing heatwave as it recorded a maximum temperature of 45.2 degrees Celsius in Mungeshpur on Thursday, which is the highest maximum temperature recorded in July in the city in the last 90 years. At Delhi's Najafgarh Observatory, the maximum temperature recorded was 44 degrees Celsius.
