Fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi’s sister Purvi Mehta has paid over Rs 17 crores from her London bank account to the Enforcement Directorate after she was pardoned from criminal proceedings in return for extending help in the Punjab National Bank fraud case. Nirav Modi is the key accused in the Rs 13,500 crore PNB fraud case and is currently lodged in a London prison.
