A day after the Uttar Pradesh police raided the house of Urdu poet Munawwar Rana in Lucknow, the cops have informed that his son Tabrez had staged an attack on himself to frame his uncles in a land dispute case. Celebrated poet Munawwar Rana expressed displeasure over late night police search at their house in Lucknow. The poet alleged that the cops didn’t tell them the reason for conducting a late-night search. In an exclusive interaction with AajTak, Munawwar Rana spoke about the whole incident. Munawwar Rana raised serious allegations on his brothers. Munawwar Rana said that around 60 police personnel came to his house, but nobody is trying to look at the criminal record of his brothers.
