India set a global record for the most anti-coronavirus vaccinations administered in a single day on June 21, with over 86 lakh anti-coronavirus shots administered in a single day.
According to Union Health Ministry data, the country's vaccination rate has dropped by 68 per cent a little more than a week later, with India administering only 27.6 lakh jabs on Wednesday.
Furthermore, according to Ministry data, the number was the lowest in the previous 15 days on June 27, with only 17.21 lakh doses administered–an 80 per cent decrease from June 21 figures.
