Charred body of IIT Madras lecturer found inside campus

The charred body of an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras lecturer was discovered inside the campus on Thursday. The institute's Sports Officer contacted the local police after the body was discovered near the hockey field.
The deceased has been identified as Unnikrishnan Nair, 30. He graduated from B.Tech in April 2021 and began working as a project associate and guest lecturer at IIT Madras.
