Salman Butt says IPL 2021 will help players gear up for T20 World Cup. Foreign cricket boards had encouraged their players to participate in IPL 2021 in India as it would help them gain a better understanding of the conditions in the country. Though some boards have refused to allow their players to feature in the second phase of IPL Season 14, former Pakistan cricketer Salman Butt feels the sentiment could change as the T20 World Cup has also been shifted to the UAE.

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के 14वें सीजन के दूसरे फेज में जो यूएई में खेला जाएगा उसमें आने वाले विदेशी खिलाड़ियों को लेकर काफी आशंकाएं जताई जा रही थी, कहा जा रहा था T20 World Cup को देखते हुए इंग्लैंड- ऑस्ट्रेलिया के क्रिकेट बोर्ड्स अपने खिलाड़ियों को IPL के बचे हुए मैचों में खेलने की इजाजत नहीं देंगे, हालांकि सिर्फ इंग्लैंड बोर्ड ने ही इसको लेकर बयान दिया है, बाकी न्यूजीलैंड और ऑस्ट्रेलिया से खिलाड़ी आईपीएल खेलने आएंगे, वर्ल्ड कप के यूएई शिफ्ट होने के बाद पाकिस्तान के पूर्व क्रिकेटर Salman Butt का मानना है कि IPL 2021 T20 World Cup की तैयारियों के लिए एक अच्छा प्लेटफॉर्म साबित हो सकता है।
